Ray Durham is an attorney at KLLF. Before joining KLLF, Ray was a Staff Attorney at the National Center for Youth Law in Washington, D.C. At the National Center for Youth Law, Ray worked as an impact litigator, policy advocate, and community organizer across different states, representing youth and families impacted by the criminalization of poverty and the school to prison pipeline.
Ray graduated from the University of California - Berkeley School of Law, where he represented individual clients for parole board hearings with Uncommon Law, helped develop and lead policy campaigns to combat the imposition of juvenile court fines and fees with the Policy Advocacy Clinic, and worked on novel legal claims in defense of individuals incarcerated on death row with the Death Penalty Clinic. He also interned at the Public Defender Service in D.C., where he assisted in individual representation of youth and adult defendants.
When not at the office, Ray enjoys thrift shopping, film photography, and spending quality time with his loved ones.
