Alyssa Isidoridy is an associate at KLLF. Before joining KLLF, Alyssa clerked for the Hon. Nina Gershon of the Eastern District of New York and the Hon. James L. Cott of the Southern District of New York. Prior to her clerkships, she served as a Masiyiwa-Bernstein fellow with the Refugee Protection team at Human Rights First, where she conducted field research on the treatment of asylum seekers at the U.S.-Mexico border and advocated to end immigration detention. She has represented detained asylum-seekers in immigration court through both her fellowship at Human Rights First in New York, N.Y., and an internship at the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition in Washington, D.C.

Alyssa graduated from NYU School of Law, where she assisted in civil rights impact litigation matters with the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project, individual representation of non-citizens with the Legal Aid Society, and campaign finance reform advocacy with the Brennan Center for Justice. She also served as an International Law and Human Rights Fellow at the Centro de Estudios Legales y Sociales in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

When not at the office, Alyssa enjoys chasing her rescue mutt through Prospect Park and practicing her Spanish-language skills with her husband.
