KLLF Sues NYPD for Excessive Force on Behalf of City Sanitation Worker

KLLF has filed a complaint alleging excessive force and false arrest in Manhattan federal court on behalf of an African-American city sanitation worker the NYPD tased without justification. Not only was the NYPD officers’ use of such significant force clearly unreasonable under the circumstances but, the complaint alleges, the officers then falsely arrested KLLF’s client in an effort to cover-up their wrongdoing. For far too long, the NYPD has resorted to force when circumstances do not warrant it. These practices must stop.
